Statement of the Anti-Myanmar Military Dictatorship Network (Australia) against the Terrorist Myanmar military coup
06
March 2021
State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi led NLD
Government has received mandate from the people of Myanmar to steer the country
by winning a landslide victory in the 2020 election.
We, the Australian Burmese community, also fully recognise the
election results and congratulate the NLD, ethnic nationality parties and
others, which won the parliamentary seats. We believed that the 2020 election
results proved that the people of Myanmar seriously want the NLD-led government
to drive the nation out of political turmoils and lead for the betterment in
the future.
Following the series of the baseless accusations against NLD party as
election fraud, Myanmar Military coup happened on 01 Feb 2021. During
the pre-dawn raids, the military unlawfully arrested and detained State
Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, President U Win Myint, NLD
parliamentarians-elect and many prominent political activists across Myanmar. The
military then unlawfully formed State Administrative Council and cabinet
ministers to rule the country illegally.
Myanmar's elected MPs who won in 2020 Federal
election have recently formed the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw
(CRPH) which represents as acting Government of Myanmar. The CRPH has assigned
Myanmar Ambassador to the UN, and also issued the Myanmar
military dictators as "Terrorist group" on 01-March-2021.
We, the Australian
Burmese Community have made numerous peaceful rallies across Australia, issued
statements, expressed our grievous concerns on Myanmar situations, requested the
Australian Federal MPs to strongly voice out, and conveyed the Australian
government to proactively play take URGENT actions against terrorist Myanmar
military dictators.
Unfortunately,
terrorists Myanmar military dictators led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing did not even move
by international pleas rather aggressively continued to drag the country back to another dark age. Ruthlessly shootings
the peaceful protestors like civil war, countless innocent civilians are dying
under bloody brutal hands, arresting the political figures, unlawfully detaining
innocent civilians and journalists, pushing the jailors to recklessly attack on
the demonstrators, applying psychological trauma tactics to general public, using all forms of terrors to crack down on the civil uprising across Myanmar. It's now entering 5th tragic week of nationwide mass
protest and
oppressions have been paramount.
We, the Australian Burmese community, have been
extremely heartbreaking and shocked seeing all those tragedies and atrocities
happening in Myanmar while the world is not taking URGENT ACTIONS to stop those
terrorists.
We, the Australian Burmese community, demand
immediate release of the State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, President Win Myint, Advisor
Sean Turnell, and all political detainees with any condition.
We, the
Australian Burmese community, call on the Australian Government;
1)To strongly denounce the terrorist dictators
Myanmar military coup.
2)NOT to recognize by any means the State
Administrative Council and the military regime.
3)NOT to cooperate with Myanmar military until the
return of the state power through the elected government.
4)To URGE the military regime to respect the free
and fair 2020 election results.
5)Take all strongest possible measures to stop the
brutal crackdowns being committed by the security forces against peaceful
protesters and end the terrorist military coup.
6) To
recognize and support Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH)
7) To
bring those terrorists Myanmar military dictators to international justice
